Newspaper association condemns Paris attack The head of the Newspaper Association of America says the deadly attack on the offices of a French satirical newspaper was a "horrible blow" to political liberty. Three gunmen killed 12 people Wednesday in the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo, allegedly in retaliation for the newspaper publishing satirical cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.
